Cartier C636

Au début des années 1970, Morisson-Knudsen est engagé pour la construction de la voie ferrée sur le nouveau tronçon entre Love et Mont-Wright. M-K importe ses propres locomotives et wagons pour mener à bien la construction. Trois ALCO C636 numéroté, 5404, 5402 et 5401. Ce sont d'anciens démonstrateur d'ALCO. Le nouveau tronçon entre en service le 12 décembre 1972 et en 1974, la propriété des locomotives est transféré à Québec-Cartier. Les locomotives deviendront la 77,78 et la 79.


Toutes les locomotives C636 furent peinturées en vert/jaune au alentour de 1977.

In the early 1970s, Morisson-Knudsen was hired to build the railway on the new stretch between
Love and Mount Wright. M-K imports its own locomotives and wagons to carry out the construction. Three ALCO C636 numbered, 5404, 5402 and 5401. These are former ALCO demonstrators. The new section entered into service on December 12, 1972, and in 1974, ownership of the locomotives was transferred to Québec-Cartier. The locomotives will become 77,78 and 79.


All C636 locomotives was painted in green / yellow around 1977.
